2026 marks a significant turning point for us. Since taking on the role of owner, I've been overwhelmed by the warmth and enthusiasm shown by our supporters. Your passion and loyalty are what make Hartlepool United so special, and I'm honored to be a part of this incredible journey.
A Club with a Rich Heritage:
Hartlepool United is more than just a football club; it's a symbol of our town's spirit and a legacy passed down through generations. I understand the weight of this responsibility, and I'm determined to honor the club's history while shaping its future.
My Vision for Sustained Progress:
My approach will be strategic and long-term. I aim to deliver consistent growth both on and off the pitch. This includes sound governance, meaningful engagement with our supporters, and the right football and commercial strategies. Initial assessments are already underway, and I'm confident that we'll lay the foundation for a club that our town can be proud of.
Listening and Learning:
I want to understand what Hartlepool United means to each and every one of you. I've started by speaking with long-standing supporter Jeff Stelling, and I look forward to meeting more of you in person. My role is not to change the club's identity but to nurture and protect it, ensuring it thrives in the right way.
Football Focus and Support:
While I have a long-term vision, this season is crucial. My priority is to provide clarity and support to our manager, players, and staff. I've already spoken with Nicky Featherstone, and I want to assure you that he has my full backing. We'll work together to strengthen the team during the January transfer window and push for a strong finish to the season.
Long-Term Ambition:
Our ultimate goal is to bring Hartlepool United back to the English Football League and establish ourselves there. This requires a financially robust and sustainable club, with a focus on growing commercial revenue and partnerships that support investment in football, facilities, and people.
Player Development and Youth:
I recognize the importance of player development and youth pathways. Part of my early work will be to understand the academy structures and support young talent's progress to the first-team level.
Empowering Women's Football:
Hartlepool United's women and girls are also integral to our future. I'm eager to learn about the women's program's structure and progress, and how we can continue to support its development sustainably.
Community Impact:
Our role extends far beyond the pitch. The club is deeply woven into the fabric of our town and community. We must continue to support and build on the valuable work of the Community Sports Foundation, ensuring our impact is authentic and meaningful.

Above all, I believe Hartlepool United belongs to its fans and its town. Real progress comes from unity. My sincere hope is that we can unite the club and the town, embarking on this journey together.
